Elephant Sanctuary Hazyview neighbours the Casa Do Sol Hotel on the Sabie Road (R536) just 5 km from Hazyview town and 10km from Kruger Park – Phabeni Gate.

Elephant Sanctuary is a true bushveld experience complete with elevated wooden
walkways, and beautifully constructed decks overlooking water, riverine and outdoor areas, a Curio Shop and Reception.

The Elephant Experience and venue is suitable for family outings, special occasions, corporate functions and tourist / holiday activity.

The Trunk-in-Hand program
An experienced guide will introduce you to the elephants and you will learn about their backgrounds, behaviors, characters and more, while being able to touch, feel, feed, interact and walk trunk-in-hand with the elephants.

Duration: 1.5 hours. (Programs run throughout the day.) Bookings advisable.

Elephant Brush Downs
This is a very special program - you take part in the morning grooming of the elephants.
This is followed by the Trunk-in-Hand program.
Starts: 07h15 am sharp. Booking essential.
Rates: R 450 per adult R 245 per child (4-14 years)

Trunk-in-Hand & Elephant-Back Ride
This includes the full Trunk-In-Hand program followed up by an elephant riding experience - a privilege historically reserved for kings! It is a truly amazing experience to ride these magnificent animals.

Riding aspect of program ± 25 minutes. Minimum age of 8 years. Bookings essential.
Rates: R 695 per adult R 350 per child (8-14 years - children must be 8 years old to ride)

Sundowner Elephant Experience
This program takes place at the end of the day and includes walking, feeding, riding and touching elephants. On hot days you may even see the elephants swimming. Watch elephant free-feeding.

All followed by sundowner drinks and snacks.
Duration: 2 hours. Summer and winter starting times differ.
